Job Description
Position Title: Production Labor
Wage:$19.00/hour
Shift:3rd
Hours:9:00pm - 5:30am (Sunday - Thursday)
We are seeking hard working individuals for our company in Reedsburg, WI. These are temp to hire opportunities with room for advancement and incentives after hire on. Production Labor Responsibilities:
- Perform visual and dimensional inspection of castings using statistical process control techniques
- Mark defects and discard defective castings into the designated scrap box
- Operate trim press to remove excess material
- Remove fins and other irregularities from castings using the chipper hammer, pedestal grinder and hand-held grinders
- Adjust and change cutter heard to proper specifications as necessary and record data on cutter head life
- Arrange for machine repairs
Requirements for Production Labor:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in manufacturing required
- Longevity in work history and good attendance record
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and understand English
- Basic math skills
- Able to stand, bend, twist and reach throughout shift
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift up to 45lbs
- Able to work in hot environment
- Able to work in a team
