Scope:

The position will manage a team consisting of Inventory Control, Master Scheduling and Incoming Inspection functions and is responsible for leading the alignment of the team's goals with those of the corporation and the business unit they represent. The goals will be accomplished through the development of a strategy and implementation of systems, procedures and metrics that will provide world class customer service to TTMs customers. Establish an organization and reporting structure that will control and measure the materials management disciplines in all areas of the business unit. Provide hands on leadership of structured problem solving teams, procedure reviews, new product/process implementation, audits of inventory control disciplines and employee performance feedback. Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates on inventory forecasts, inventory accuracy, department performance, and other metrics as defined by manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for supporting and meeting customer satisfaction goals.

  • Develop a strategic plan that meets Corporate and Business Unit objectives and will proactively position the group for growth and operational efficiency.

  • Possess the ability to communicate the strategic goals to their team and translate into actions plans with clear metrics of success. Drive and manage team to complete actions plans.

  • Generate inventory management plan and monitor progress and status regularly - including setting of goals, developing a plan to achieve goals, attain organizational support and drive for results.

  • Ensure ERP plan is aligned with production and revenue plans.

  • Establish and implement operational procedures in conjunction with other departments which will ensure accurate planning, ordering, receipt and storage of product to support final shipments to TTM customers.

  • Attain full functional knowledge of all procedures, systems and transactions in the areas of responsibility.

  • Ensure the accuracy of all inventory transactions and purchase orders executed daily.

  • Establish organization that will support the execution of day to day floor reporting, change control, auditing, safety and quality requirements.

  • Establish training and development plans for all employees (exempt & non-exempt).

  • Establish data collection systems to track dept. performance and productivity.

  • Weekly communication to staff on customer service, quality, safety and other related topics. This communication will occur through meetings and postings of performance.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Project Management and Assembly to ensure new products and processes are implemented with defined plans for training, and transition to production.

  • Daily, weekly, monthly review and analysis of production, quality and customer service metrics with plans for improvement established to close performance gaps.

  • Perform or review annual performance reviews for all employees in dept. Comply with and support company policies and programs regarding safety, security, ISO, EEO, OSHA.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:
  • Ability to lead teams through structured analysis, problem solving or Lean exercises.

  • Experience with electronics industry. (Commercial Wireless or DOD)

  • Knowledge of inspection control methods, techniques and documentation.

  • Knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures. Strong EXCEL, data acquisition & analysis skills.

  • Experience with management and execution of integrated ERP systems. MAPICS's experience preferred. Ability to work across business functions to understand broader goals and objectives.

  • Clearly communicate goals/vision for dept.'s based on business goals and establish plans to achieve.

Education and Experience:

Education: Bachelor Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Finance or related field

Experience: Minimum 7 years of materials management experience in a highly competitive commercial or DOD environment desired with 5 years supervisory experience. Experience with ISO-9001 and AS9100 requirements and strong interpersonal skills required. APICS certification & Lean Certification preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$117,653 - $206,906

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
