Position Summary: The ERP Administrator will have general oversight and responsibility of Ultratec’s ERP system. This position involves building a rapport with key stakeholders to work together on creating, implementing, and testing new solutions that integrate with our ERP system. The ERP Administrator will also lead and conduct the training process with key stakeholders and their respective teams. This position will also assist in the delivery of business intelligence reporting, automation, and deployment, while providing leaders with actionable data synthesized from multiple sources including ERP and related applications.

Schedule: Regular business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday, with minimal after-hours responsibilities. This position falls under our flexible Hybrid work environment, which offers employees optional remote work from home days of Monday and Friday and core onsite workdays of Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. After hours work would be required during upgrades, system maintenance, etc.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time).

Required Technical Skills:

  • Help support QAD and a wide range of custom-developed business applications.
  • Provide ERP and application training and support to users in various departments and locations.
  • Provide internal consulting on projects that have an ERP component.
  • ERP business process mapping, optimization, and automation.
  • ERP security and system administration.
  • Manage projects to implement, improve or enhance business systems and technologies.
  • Develop functional specifications, test cases, and test plans for system modifications.
  • Ability to create and execute CIM loads.
  • Facilitate user acceptance testing and training on changes and enhancements.
  • Assist with researching, testing and implementation of ERP-related solutions to meet business needs including API’s, Quality Management Tools, Manufacturing Execution Systems, Barcode scanning and labeling, Lot Traceability, Engineering Change Tracking, and more.

Requirements:

  • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in operations across the organization.
  • Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
  • Preferred experience with the following QAD ERP Manufacturing modules:
    • QAD Enterprise Edition
    • EMT (Enterprise Material Transfer)
    • Avalara’s Avatax
    • Advanced Repetitive
  • Preferred experience on end-end Data migration activities.
  • Proficient in conducting working sessions with users on the business process flows and requirement gathering.
  • Ability to do independent testing, system testing, conduct super user training, support client for user testing, and support cutover & deploy activities.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years’ experience with QAD ERP (preferred) and/or 5+ years other ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management Information Systems or equivalent work experience with 5+ years of experience with an Enterprise ERP Platform
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP best practices.
  • Strong working knowledge of Office 365 applications.
  • Experience with data queries, stored procedures, and data relationships.
  • OEM manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Experience in QAD Cloud AUX (Adaptive User Interface) is a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, flexibility, good judgment, and the ability to coordinate multiple, concurrent tasks in an effective manner.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to build strong business partner interactions with client stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.

Soft Skills:

  • This position requires a passion for working directly with end users at all levels.
  • Comfortable engaging with people in person, over the phone, and through web conferencing.
  • Ability to maintain a courteous and customer service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Must be available for escalation purposes by phone and email on a 24 x 7 on-call rotation.
